About us
The Church of the Advent has been serving the Community of Westbury, NY and its surrounding areas since 1910 and was designated a Historical Site in the Summer of 2018.
During the last 110 years, the Church has only had five rectors:
The Reverend Richard Duffield Pope, February 1911 to September 1941
The Reverend Dr. Underwood, November 1941 to September 1965
The Reverend Herbert H. Beardsley, November 1965- 1995
The Rev Jeffrey H. Krantz, 1996-2015
The Reverend Eddie Alleyne, October 2018 to August 2021
