Graduating from SUNY Empire Old Westbury with a BS in Business Administration, Economics and Business Management, ‘Deacon Ro’ worked with the stock market on Wall Street for 20 years. Ordained to the Diaconate in 1994, she has served in several parishes within the Diocese of Long Island (Christ Church, Oyster Bay; The Cathedral of the Incarnation, Garden City; St. Thomas, Farmingdale; St. Jude, Wantagh; St. Gabriel’s, Brooklyn, and currently at The Church of the Advent, Westbury. She was also a volunteer Chaplain at Ground Zero.

She enjoys working with children preparing them for Confirmation where she puts her master’s in education to good use! She has worked with Autistic and handicapped children for 8 years and is proficient in Sign Language.

She has three children and one grandson. Her sons work for the Town of Oyster Bay and her Daughter is a Radiologist.
